The July 2018 edition of NYS Ed Tech Innovators is now available.

Contributions to this edition of NYS Ed Tech Innovators come from the central and southern areas of our state, representing insights from a religious school, a public district, and a Regional Information Center.听听

  • An Instructional Technology Specialist shares the Embedded Professional Development Model; a one-on-one approach to PD that builds trust and relationships between the professional developer and teacher. Application of this model has resulted in teachers becoming more comfortable in integrating new technologies and online tools into activities that align with curricular standards.
  • St. Ann certainly lives up to its name as "The Personal School," having implemented a school-wide program focusing on blended learning, innovative use of technology, and individualized attention. These methods have raised self-confidence in students, diminished behavioral issues, and increased student proficiency on 小猪视频 State exams.
  • In response to the large demand for computing jobs, Mineola High School offers A New Meaning to "College & Career Readiness." The school has teamed up with a local community college to allow students the opportunity to complement their high school diploma with a college-level Certificate in New Media Technology.
