Transfer High School

Commissioner’s Regulations 100.21(vii) definition: A transfer high school means a high school in which the majority of students upon their first enrollment in the high school had previously attended Grade 9 or higher in another high school or a high school in which the majority of students attained age 16 or higher in the year in which the students first entered Grade 9, or a school in which more than 50% of currently enrolled students are English language learners as defined in Part 154 of this Title who have attended school in the 50 United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and the District of Columbia for less than three years.
